American Idol move overs with Talent Search Performers at Chasco Fiesta
American Idol, move over – here comes the Talent Search Showcase performers at Chasco Fiesta.
The annual show will feature 27 acts on Sunday, March 30, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sims Park amphitheater.
Singers and dancers abound in the lineup with about every type of music represented.
Contestants come from all over the area, including New Port Richey, Port Richey, Palm Harbor, Spring Hill, Wesley Chapel, Clearwater, Tampa and Lutz. Most range in age from early teens to mid-20s.
Schools attended by contestants include River Ridge High, Seven Springs Middle, John Long Middle, Ridgewood High, Palm Harbor University, Wesley Chapel Elementary, Dunedin High, Mitchell High, Lakeside Christian, Richey Elementary, Gulf High, Sickles High and several home-schooled students.
SBray Productions staged the auditions in January to determine the finalists to go onto stage Sunday. Hyundai of New Port Richey is sponsoring the search.
Finalists will earn career consultations, photo shoots and more.
The performers will be Lexi Balestrieri, Brianna Bullock, Jessica Chaltry, Catharina Chipman, Haley Cole, Gianna Colucci, Chelsea Davis, Danielle Garcia, Rogue Gomez, Nina Hatsidimou, Kailey Holyoke, Patrice Lee, Tim Michels, Chelsea Miller, Whitney Miller, John Payne, Niara Purkett, Morgan Rasmussen, Devon Rivera, Shyann Roberts, Matthew Romeo, Samantha Samuelsen, Abigail Shapiro, Erin Shoeman, Chelsea VanDenkooy, Briana Waldorf and dance group Krump Allstars.
Other Sunday attractions include the Gulfside Corvette Club Chasco Car, Truck and Bike Show until 3 p.m. and a Radio Disney show at 6 p.m. Editing by Alice Liu
