Jumping along the bandwagon, we must say that HK artistes are getting more and more daring as well as careless with what they do behind closed doors.

It’s just plain careless for such footages to fall onto the wrong hands and well, as we can see across the internet, such “news” can spread like wild fire. According to some source, Edison made someone angry and that someone manage to get the photos from Edison’s lost phone. As usual, you pissed of a person, it’s just natural that the person wants to get back at you. And when you’re someone famous like Edison, wouldn’t it be hurtful if the attack is on your reputation? Of course, when such thing happened, whoever that was involved will also be dragged into this hot soup that is overflowing everywhere. The latest footages that appeared on the net was found to have been originated from Thailand, and Interpol has been alerted. Rumours say it was taken from a 13min video.

¼br> Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG) representing both Edison Chen and Gillian Chung have insisted that the photos are doctored and have made a police report. Cecilia too have done likewise through her manager. No mention from Bobo who had already retired from showbiz in 2006 and is less widely known than the other two outside of Hong Kong. Even though there are no conclusive evidence that these photos are doctored, practically all the media in Hong Kong are saying it is and you can guess EEG is trying to play down the mess that Edison had created.

1. the color hue and saturation for both persons are the same, proves that they are taken under the same lighting condition. besides, there’re a few pictures of the same series with the same lighting, it is extremely difficult for someone to fake a few pictures of the same lighting even with the best skills.
2. the pixelation of both persons are the same, if you blow up the picture you can see the pixelation and spread of color pixels. they are consistent throughout all the pictures.
3. the blackest and whitest intensity of the two persons in all the pictures are at the same level and consistent throughout
4. the angle of both persons from the camera in all the pictures are the same, it is very difficult to fake angle of camera because different photos have different camera angles, the angle can easily give away if the photo is fake,
5. if you observed the edge of both persons, you can see the level of blurness and pixelation are the same for both persons for all the pictures
6. the posture at the bed obviously shows edison chan having sex (in the series with gillian), and gillian’s head is extremely difficult to be photoshopped at so many different angles to such realism
7.edison chan seem to have a liking to take picture during/after sex while looking at the camera, which is consistent throughout the pictures
8. it seem that bobo chan is looking at the same angle with edison chan at the camera, while gillian probably did not know she was taken picture throughout the pictures of her
9. gillian’s foot shape is the same with her other normal photos, as proven in the first pic.

Edison Chen (陈冠希), Bobo Chan (陈文媛), Gillian Chung (钟欣桐) and Cecilia Cheung (张柏芝), the four Chinese Hong Kong celebrities, are currently involved in an embarrassing sex photo scandal that has whipped up a storm in China and the rest of the Chinese-speaking world.
It all started on 27 January when various photographs of people resembling the above-named celebrities were all posted one after the other including the Hong Kong Discussion Forum. The photos in question included:
A girl resembling Gillian Chung (from the squeaky-clean group Twins) with breasts peeking out from her bikini and her legs spread apart. In another picture, a man resembling Edison Chen performs cunnilingus on her.
A girl resembling Bobo Chan (Edison Chen’s ex girlfriend) performing fellatio on him, with his love lollipop in full glory.
A dazed-looking Cecilia Cheung posing in uniform in one picture, and nude in a bathroom in another.
The pictures were released in a phased rollout, leaving eager netizens “waiting all night and all day at the various bulletin board systems in Hong Kong, Taiwan and mainland China”. Chung’s company, Emperor Entertainment, soon declared the pictures to be photoshopped fakes and Ming Pao Daily News, Apple Daily, Oriental Daily News and The Sun took that position in their front page stories subsequently. But as more and more photos were released into public domain, the newspapers soon changed their tune.
Netizens say the bathroom the Cecilia Cheung lookalike was photographed in looks like that of Edison Chen’s as seen in his blog. She also sports the same belly ring, earring and tattoos as the real Cecilia Cheung. Various photography experts have also told the media that the pictures do not seem modified. Even the Hong Kong cops soon conceded that the pictures appear real.
Journalists also tell us of how their colleagues have been gathering around computer monitors perving analysing the entire range of pictures together. Most of them appear to have made up their own minds. Among the exclamations frequently heard in offices and at lunch across Asia this week: “OMG! Cecilia is so hairy! She could use a shave!” and “Oh dear! He is so small!”
Edison Chen, currently in Boston, took a while to break the silence on his blog:
Yes i have been silent and everyone thinks i am hiding but today there will be a press release and i hope u can all read from that and report the TRUTH and do some homework before trying to ruin someone’s life, cuz that is exactly whut u are all doing to me putting false statements on the FRONT PAGE sex photo scandal ever of newspapers and to others as well
In the latest video released yesterday, a contrite-looking Edison apologised to all the victims who’ve been “been affected by this strange, strange ordeal” and urged viewers in possession of those pictures to “please destroy them immediately”. (And if you’re wondering why Edison’s speaking in English, he’s Canadian)
That, unfortunately, may have come too little, too late. Reports are now saying that Gillian has attempted suicide following the scandal. And Cecilia’s husband Nicholas Tse 谢霆锋 (who used to date Faye Wong 王菲), has threatened divorce, although his father Patrick Tse 谢贤 has since denied those rumours.

Earlier today, I received a JPEG file supposedly containing the original EXIF of the photos which can be used to proof the authenticity of the photo.
